In order to lose fat, you will first have to estimate how many calories your body requires on a daily basis to sustain itself. Once youve hit upon this figure, you need to cut down on your calorie intake.
Dont make the mistake of not eating to lose fat. Not only will it not work, youll also end up ruining your health. You need to consume 15% to 20% lesser calories that your body requires for daily maintenance if you want to lose fat.
2) Hit the gym.
Exercise is the second most important component. Not getting enough exercise is the primary reason why people become fat. If youve never exercised before, its a good idea to consult a doctor before you start exercising and to take it slow during the first couple of weeks.
If youve been working out regularly without seeing any results, dont fret. I will tell you two exercise secrets that will lay to rest any uncertainties that you may have regarding how to get rid of stubborn fat.
The first secret is weight training. Did you know that weight training can change your body into a fat burning furnace? Weight training helps you to increase and maintain your bodys muscle tissue. The more muscle that you have on your body, the more youll burn fat, because muscle is a metabolically active tissue.
High intensity cardio is the second secret.
The keywords are high intensity..
If you want to stay healthy, go for a leisurely walk; if you want to burn fat, up the intensity.
3) A good nights sleep.
When youre young and have a thousand things to do, sleep takes a back seat.
You should take this next bit of advice to heart if you want to learn how to lose fat.
Ensure that you get at least 8 hours of sleep every night.
Cut back on the time you spend surfing the net or playing video games; this small sacrifice is really worth it.
You will feel hungrier and tend to snack more frequently throughout the day when you dont get enough sleep.
