Abs Workout ( Burn Belly Fat)

Core Muscles are the muscles of your mid section namely the rectus abdominis, transverse abdominis, exterior oblique, internal oblique and the muscles of your pelvic floor, collectively all these muscles are called core muscles.
It is very important to workout core muscles on regular basis as strong core muscles provide various benefits like-
• Improve Posture
• Prevent lower back muscle pain and injury.
• Helps with better mobility
• Improves physical performance
• Helps in better co ordination and reflexes.

Some of the best exercises that you can do to strengthen your core muscles are-

1. Plank — Plank is one best exercise to work on the deepest layer of the core called as transverse abdominis, it is these muscles which help you to suck in stomach muscles.It is also a great exercise to build endurance around your abs and back muscles thereby reducing chances of lower back injury.For starters perform 2 Sets x 30 -45 seconds.

2. Side Plank- This is another great exercises to work on your core muscles with major emphasis on external and internal oblique. Side planks not only help you to strengthen core muscles but also help increase strength in your shoulder girdle, improve physical performance and help with better coordination and balance.Side Plank again stick with 2 x 30 -45 seconds each side.

3. Plank Knee To Elbow — Is again one the best exercise to overall core strength but more than that it’s a great complete body workout. By maintaining your body in a push up position you are working on your shoulder, back, bicep, tricep and your core muscles, also when you are quickly moving your legs back and forth you are working on the major muscle group of your lower body also.
Overall it’s a great exercise to strengthen core muscles, burn calories and also increase speed and agility.Plank knee to elbow you gotta do 3 sets X 15 -20 Reps.

4. Prone Roll on Swiss Ball – Prone Roll on Swiss Ball is a great exercise to work out your core muscles, build strength, enhance core stability, increase balance and also burn calories. It may look very easy but trust me if you just do it 20 times it will take all the energy out of you. This one try 3 sets X 20 Reps

5. Knee Tucks — Knee Tucks is a challenging exercise and is the toughest of all the exercises mentioned in this video. Knee tucks on Swiss ball is a complete body exercised and helps strengthen hip flexors, abdominal muscles and the shoulder girdle. In this exercise the arms and torso help stabilize your body as you bring the knees towards your chest, your lower ab muscles get involved when you pull your knees towards the chest. Overall it’s a tough exercise to perform and start by trying 2 Sets X 15 -20 Reps.

6. Pelvic Lift — It is one of the easiest exercise to perform but one of the best exercises to strengthen your lower back muscles. Doing the exercise on regularly you can
prevent lower back muscle pain and injury. Try this exercise for 2 sets x 20 — 25 reps.

All daily activities that you do recruit core muscles and therefore it is essential to workout core muscles regularly……although contrary to the old belief core exercise in itself does not get you a well defined abs….to see a well toned mid section you need to follow a healthy diet and do a lot of weight training exercises which helps you to enhance your resting metabolic rate and reduce your body fat percentage.

In this video my body fat is 9 percent, if you get it even lower than 6 percent then you can see your complete six pack.
